Election Pandering

Catholics for Kerry :: A Better Choice for Life is an amazing site my good friend Rob put together. He's committed himself to write approximately one essay a day until the election to explain his choice. He also has several prominent theologians, including the amazing Fr. Dave Ratermann whom we worked with in Bolivia for three weeks, sharing their respective thoughts. For the Christian humanist, the choice should be rather clear.

In other news, the Republicans are packing Giuliani off to New Jersey to campaign in the newest "swing state." Strange news in strange times.

And why do Democratic party supporters on college campuses seem so less educated than their Republican counterparts? Is it because there are just so many of them, and therefore, the smaller Republican segment must be stronger and more knowledgeable to survive? All I know is that there is a lot more ignorance on the liberal side of campus. You can easily have pro-Kerry intelligent rhetoric--just look at Rob's site, Andrew Sullivan, Daniel Drezner, or OxBlog--but so rarely do the students at this "11th nationally ranked" school employ it.
