Blissful Appearances

... of perfect idleness amidst the chaos of a dwindling semester.

3:30 AM and tackling a bit of research. Currently musing on my unconscious progress through the Modern Library's top 100 novels of the 20th century. Musings morphed into a bit of bookish wandering across the world wide web, where I stumbled upon first the film 1900 and then Mr. Woody Allen's latest, Match Point.

...and now I can't wait until January 20, when the film is released nationwide. It looks incredible, with rather innovative cinematography for Allen and a VERDI soundtrack. I wonder how much his distinctive stylings will change with the new setting and production team....perhaps a comment on IMDB encapsulates my hopes and understandings best: "probably not the best Woody Allen movie, but possibly the best movie made by Woody Allen."

Quivering in anticipation... London+Woody+Verdi!
