Blogging

So my readers will generally know that I'm obsessed with the trend of blogging as an information altering medium working to overthrow the Big Media stranglehold on distribution....

but for those of you that have experience with different blogging mediums... what's your general opinion of say... blogger vs. Movable type? Movable type's parent, 6 Apart, has a pretty interesting founding story..check it out on their website. Anyway won't even bother to mention LiveJournal or Xanga (except that I just did) since generally those are more personal diary type things rather than real commentator style blogs...but opinions and experiences are welcome. I'd love to do an overhaul of the structure of this site but my html knowledge is rather minimal and doesn't go much beyond links and text styles...can't manage CSS or javascripts unless it's already laid out for me.
