A very happy 64th birthday to Citizen Kane, that most excellent of cinematic masterpieces by and starring the great Hollywood personality Orson Welles.
An additional birthday greeting goes out to Wes Anderson, modern brilliant moviemaker and writer/director of Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. May your mark on film-making be as permanent and influential as that of Mr. Welles.
