Geek Indulgences

Since we're all geeks or dorks or nerds after a fashion...provided we have a passion for something...

a bit of news from my (stereotypical) geek indulgences.

1. Apologies to my Mac-using readers out there. Blogger is less friendly with Safari than I expected, although better compatibility is on the way. In the meantime, you can switch to Mozilla Firefox (quite a nice browser for a multitude of platforms and really picking up some steam) or subscribe to the RSS/Atom feed with a good reader (NetNewsWire or my favourite--while it was free--NewsFire are good ones). All this can be found via a quick Google-search, and if you're a bit technically-minded (or perhaps leaning that way, you might want to take a gander. For the record, I'm still using Safari for most of my posting and editing. I hate the way the main blog ends up in the sidebar, but I'm being patient for now.

2. After my bit of Balkan blogging (more on the way), I've managed to actually obtain a bit of legitimacy--check the bottom of my links. Just a crunchy crustacean at the moment of course... but I'm excited. It's a powerful medium and just that tiny little nod of the head is all I wanted to see. Now to actually get about the business of creating real posts...
