The New York Times-The Next Wave
"Here are the stories of 10 transplanted New Yorkers, all under 40, told from their own personal, often poignant, perspectives, as well as voices culled from a dozen immigrant gathering places around the city."
Very interesting, heartbreakingly poignant, bittersweet reality. Herein lies some of the patchwork of the modern immigration experience, in all it's vivid variation--something so many of us, ourselves often only three or four generations removed from the steamships and cargo holds, so quickly forget and gloss over in our own daily lives.
