Next Stop - The Douro - In Portugal, a New Stop on the Global Wine Trail - NYT

The Times published a brief snapshot of northern Portugal on Sunday, in a short piece about the increasingly chic Douro wine region, where growers have begun to emphasize Touriga Nacional, one of my favorite grapes and the main agent behind some of the juiciest, big fruity wines I have ever enjoyed. This is a travel itinerary I'd like to make my own.
