Overzealous Critics

A CURSE ON MEAN-SPIRITED INTELLECTUALS | More Intelligent Life

I could not agree with the author of this post more--too much of the collegiate literary circle is going overboard in their academic literary analysis and viewing literature through a forced lens framed by their own paradigms and philosophies.

...although that, of course, is what literature is: books seen through the lens of our own paradigms and philosophies. Nevertheless, you and Philip Davis have a point in saying that too much is too much. I especially agree with his final paragraph.
