London calling: Why the UK capital lures ever more migrants

Following up on Eastern Promises, this is a well-written analysis of London's modern immigration trends. Very interesting and brings to mind some aspects of the book Give Us Your Best and Brightest published a few years ago. I found it particularly interesting that the US and Canada only comprise 6% of London migrants (compared to 10 percent from East Asia and 19 percent from Africa).
