Worth a quick read. It's been very interesting to watch Silicon Valley emerge as a counterweight to Detroit for more "clean energy" vehicles (it's also home to Tesla Motors, parent of the souped up all electric Lotus). PG&E generates a solid chunk of its power needs from cleaner energies and a lot of natural gas, so all in all, this seems like a genuinely green experiment.
