Prolific Technolust

Tis the season...

...for consumerism and wish-lists. In keeping with my caffeine habit which I have zero desire to kick, I present the latest honored items to be coveted with a proper degree of Technolust...

From the pages of Daily Candy, I present industrial design company MOSS and their caffeine related products:

Espresso Maker
Kettle (Gehry-designed)
Neopolitan Coffee Maker
Teapot

The last, of course, is my favorite, and looks rather like a unique, limited edition, high quality Bodum piece. The Gehry kettle looks rather like Michael Graves' Target-sold kettle as well. Can't really justify the price on any of this (except maybe the teapot), but they are beautiful. Proper SoHo design shop that looks like it belongs more in London in the boutiques scattered around Clerkenwell than even in hip NY. That's all, my little bit of industrial beauty for the night. Back to sipping my espresso macchiatto doppio with Peet's Arabian Mocha Java beans.
