Chinese set back in buying into U.S.

And so the big US-China business struggles that have consumed the international business press over the last month or so have essentially come to a close. CNOOC may make a late stage last play, but Haier has stepped down. For better of for worse, the American companies on the auction block seem to be taking the safe road and leaning towards American counterparts. Are they doing so because of regulator pressures? Or because of their own business interests?
