Well the blog has been fixed up a bit...but little research has been done.
Re-entered modern society a bit today by
a) reading a few blogs I haven't looked at in ages
b) ordering Domino's delivery (and generally eating a large meal...)
c) iTMS--new purchases:
--The Life Aquatic Soundtrack, dominated by the Portuguese Bowie-covers of Seu Jorge
--2 songs from Basement Jaxx "Remedy"
--2 songs from Stereo MC's "Connected"
d) Facebooking, IMDb-ing, etc....
I'm a master of procrastination. Really this post is completely pointless except that I wanted to talk about music and movies for a minute. The music tastes seem to be veering in to two major camps--the intensely lyrical, overtly emotional (painful & depressing usually) craft of singer-songwriter's and acoustic balladeers set against the firm beats of funk, acid jazz, and modern funk-inspired electronica. Go figure.
Movies--Sahara is so pathetic it's good. It has MST3000 written all over it, just waiting for a good row of hecklers to rip it to shreds.
Currently listening to the "New Slang" by the Shins. Time to get cracking...somehow....
