More of a bubble than Wash U

Bush's inaugural address came and went without me even knowing about it for at least a day.... haven't been reading the papers (they're expensive) and the internet is too slow in the flat to faciliate online/RSS news reading....so I'm a bit woefully out of touch with regards to world affairs. Hoping for that to change once the job starts....
